We’re excited to share a new way for our senior customers to save! Entergy Louisiana is now offering a Senior Discount program to help eligible customers reduce their energy bills.

What’s the Senior Discount?

If you qualify, Entergy will waive the $10 monthly customer charge, saving you $120 a year.

Who is eligible?

• You must be 65 years or older.
• Your annual household income must be at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for a two-person household, which can be found at aspe.hhs.gov/topics/poverty-economic-mobility/poverty-guidelines.

How do I enroll?

You can sign up by calling Entergy customer service at 1-800-ENTERGY (1-800-368-3749).

What documents do I need to provide?

To prove eligibility, you’ll need to submit the following to your community action or nonprofit partner:

• A government-issued photo ID.
• Pay stubs from the past 30 days for all employed household members.
• Proof of unearned income (e.g., Social Security, Unemployment, Retirement, Disability).
• Additional information may be required.

How quickly will I see savings?

Once enrolled, your savings will appear on your bill starting with the next billing cycle.
